In Switzerland, according to the Federal Statistical Office, foreign nationals are three times more likely to be unemployed than Swiss citizens.

As a mentor

you support individuals with foreign backgrounds and higher education degrees (Bachelor and above), helping them navigate the Swiss labour market and advance in their careers.

Mentoring means using your knowledge and experience to help another person – but it is also a rewarding investment of time in your own personal development! As a mentor you:

  • Gain increased insight into different cultural concepts, the Swiss labour market and inclusive company culture

  • Reflect on own corporate culture in exchange with other mentors (peers) from other companies

  • Develop your ability to lead and coach others

  • Expand your professional network through contact with the program’s mentees and other mentors

  • Gain a sense of meaningfulness and receive an opportunity to make a difference to another person and contribute to integration in the Swiss labour market
