Effective September 1st 2024, Mitt Liv has appointed Marc Maurer as CEO of their Swiss subsidiary. He also founded and led his own social media and public relations agency, XPLICIT GmbH, and previously held key roles at the telecom provider UPC as Head of PR and Deputy Head of Communications.
Marc Maurer, CEO of Mitt Liv Switzerland from September 1st.
In March 2024, Mitt Liv announced its expansion into Europe by establishing a new subsidiary in Switzerland. This strategic initiative was supported by a new issuance of shares and a strong coalition of international collaboration partners, including Adecco, ABB, Hult EF, Julius Baer, and SKF. Mitt Liv’s expansion to Switzerland was a natural step, driven by the fact that many of its existing clients are established in Central Europe, and by a clear market need for the company’s expertise and processes within diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI).
Marc Maurer is now taking on the role of CEO to lead and further develop Mitt Liv's establishment in Switzerland, bringing his extensive experience and passion for DEI.
Marc Maurer:
"I am excited to bring DEI with the Mitt Liv team to Switzerland and create a significant impact in our country. Developing collaborations and partnerships with both national and international companies will be my focus. The DEI potential within Switzerland is enormous, and compared to other European countries, DEI is still a niche here. If companies in Switzerland want to effectively confront and mitigate the skilled labour shortage, a more diverse workforce and inclusive structures are necessary for continued success. My goal is to demonstrate that DEI are crucial parts of a company's financial and business success. Together, with our partners we can change the Swiss labour market and make it more diverse."
Lynn Blattman, Chairperson of the board in Switzerland and Historian:
"We are thrilled to have Marc lead our Swiss subsidiary, bringing with him a deep understanding of DEI and a strong vision for the future. Switzerland has a long tradition of finding democratic solutions with many different groups. But sometimes we struggle with modern needs and ways to establish a more diverse society. The first and most important steps for diversity, equity and inclusion happen in economy: Large and small companies are crucial for enabling true diversity. Switzerland's typical pragmatic approach, combined with Mitt Liv’s long experience could lead to very good results."
