Mitt Liv is proud to announce its participation in the Dela Programme, co-created by Ashoka and IKEA Social Entrepreneurship. Supporting selected social entrepreneurs from around the world in their effort to scale up their operations in the most efficient way, the programme has paired Mitt Liv with representatives from Ashokas global network of partners and fellows that will help Mitt Liv make an even bigger impact on the Swedish labour market.
The programme started in October and Mitt Liv has already begun working closely with leaders from IKEA and its biggest franchisor INGKA, Microsoft philanthropies, Orphoz, a McKinsey company with experience in strategic planning, R&D and business development, and eLearnAfrica, a company with a keen interest in technology, corporate innovation and social impact.
Lenka Prokopec Karlberg, the CEO of Mitt Liv, sees a great opportunity in the company’s participation in the programme: “We are honoured of having been selected for the Dela programme and are looking forward to gaining insight on how we can develop strategically to be able to scale our model and our competence, and change the inhibitory structures preventing the labour market from including minority groups and better meeting the needs of employers. The Swedish society and labour market have so much to win from becoming more diverse and inclusive, truly valuing a broad range of perspectives. We know that Mitt Liv can make an even greater impact.”
Peter List, global head of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion at INGKA, shares Lenka’s enthusiasm: "I am so happy and excited to be part of the Dela programme and even more so to be working together – strengthening and enabling Mitt Liv to scale their impact and in doing so, we can make an even bigger, positive difference on society and ultimately the lives of vulnerable and marginalised people.”
