About CSRD
With the new EU law, Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), coming into effect in 2024, sustainability reporting will undergo significant changes and expand substantially. More than 50,000 companies across the EU will fall under the scope of CSRD by 2026.
A key aspect of the directive is that companies and organisations will need to align with the new European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). These standards are designed to ensure that companies report on their impact on people, the environment, and climate in a comparable, reliable, and high-quality manner.
This expanded scope of reporting will increase transparency and comparability between companies, as the requirements for disclosing information on sustainability aspects will be more extensive than ever before.
