Mitt Liv’s collaboration with Axel Johnson spans a variety of projects that date back over many years. In recent times Axel Johnson has engaged the services of Mitt Liv for a range of different consulting assignments, including the development of a leadership program and a recruitment day for international talents.
The collaboration with Mitt Liv has been crucial in enabling us to find the right candidates for our initiatives, and we have also benefited greatly from their experience and expertise when it comes to the design of such initiatives. They were also extremely responsive to our needs and what we wanted to achieve. Mitt Liv has been an excellent partner!
In the autumn of 2017, Axel Johnson developed a tailored leadership development program in collaboration with Mitt Liv, with the aim of identifying and developing talents with an international background. The target group for the program consisted of individuals with a foreign background who were not employed within the Axel Johnson Group, and who had the potential to become future leaders. The participants were offered a nine-day training course with focus on leadership, retail and Swedish/European business culture, as well as support from mentors from companies in the Axel Johnson Group. In total there were 23 participants from 19 different countries. Mitt Liv’s responsibilities included recruitment of the participants and the provision of training with regard to diversity, inclusion and cultural competence.
In 2019, Mitt Liv collaborated with Axel Johnson on the development of a concept for a recruitment day within the framework of the Axelerate initiative, whereby members of the same target group as above were given an opportunity to register for a day of job interviews with recruitment officers from the various companies in the Axel Johnson Group. Mitt Liv was responsible for the recruitment of 45 candidates and for arranging a workshop called "Navigating the Swedish workplace culture".
